How to Adjust Your Mirrors

I ran across this technique years ago and have been using it ever since. It truly works, and will make you a safer driver. One caveat, though. You will no longer see the side of your car out of your side mirrors, so this will likely result in a little adjustment period until you are comfortable with it.

Despite some initial skepticism, I tried this method. Slandy is right - this requires a period of adjustment.
I’ve been using this method for about a week now. The hard part at first was learning to rely solely on my rear view mirror. It is worth it - seeing cars in your side view that you wouldn’t have seen otherwise is incredible. I’m still adjusting, but am finding I am making lane changes with more certainty than before.
